FADE IN:
INT. CAR - DAY
GUY #1 is driving through a country road at mid-day listening to american country music. He notices a roaring argument and feels a change in tempo in contrast to the quite country roads. (interior monologue - can't do that, explain what he actually sees and not feels) He slows his car down to spy on the two people who are throwing their hands about and getting in each others faces. The guy drives past the couple, and the couple are completely oblivious to him so they carry on arguing. GUY #1 parks his car further up the road and watches through the wing-mirror.
EXT. ROAD - DAY
The 18 year old girl runs back towards GUY #2 car, but the guy drags her away from the car and pushes her.
INT. CAR - DAY
GUY #1 starts making origami (switch the origami until she has been punched and is knocked out on the ground and GUY #2 has driven off. Therefore it is a sign that he has maybe had experience with something similar before and knows he will be waiting) and switches between focusing on his origami and watching the couple.
EXT. ROAD - DAY
GIRL #1 runs at GUY #2 and this time he punches her in the face, she falls to the floor and in panic GUY #2 rushes into his car and drives off.
INT. CAR - DAY
GUY #1 watching from the wing-mirror of his car is not bothered at all and doesn't flinch towards the punch.
EXT. ROAD - DAY
GIRL #1 is left unconscious and abandoned in the middle of nowhere.
BLACK SCREEN
EXT. ROAD - DAY
GIRL #1 is awoken by bulky black shoes coming towards her.
GUY #1 offers GIRL #1 a blanket and then he walks back to his car parked up in front of her. (ALSO, GUY #1 WILL OFFER HOT CHOCOLATE AS AT THIS TIME OF YEAR, IT IS COLD AND SO IT WILL BE IN A FLASK, THEREFORE SHE IS HESITANT TOWARDS WHATS ACTUALLY IN THE FLASK [DOES SHE TRUST HIM?] - THIS WILL LEAD TO QUESTIONS FOR THE AUDIENCE LATER ON IN THE FILM, TOWARDS WHEN SHE IS STARTING TO LOOSE CONSCIOUSNESS. IS SHE DROWSY BECAUSE OF HER CONCUSSION OR HAS SHE BEEN DRUGGED UP?)
GUY #1 opens the passengers door and walks back to GIRL #1 to offer a hand that she at first hesitates towards but in embarrassment of the situation quickly takes and gets up.
GUY #1 ushers GIRL #1 to the car and she seems willing but cautious to the situation. She begins to give him strange looks but doesn't say anything and looks down.
GIRL #1
Urm...
GUY #1
Home?
GIRL #1 pauses and looks at GUY #1 and then looks at the car. Then she looks around and remembers she is in the middle of nowhere.
GIRL #1
If that's OK? I can give you directions.
INT. CAR - DAY
GIRL #1 sits in the car and looks around nervously with thoughts that she knows this could go bad, but believes in the good intentions of the GUY #1. (DESCRIBE WHAT SHE SEES IN THE CAR AND WHAT CATCHES HER ATTENTION)
GUY #1 starts up the car and the radio begins to blast country music.
GUY #1 stays stationary and looks at GIRL #1. She looks back in awkwardness as the guy is holding a wilful stare beyond her shoulder, so she follows his eye path that seemingly leads to the unlocked door lock.
GUY #1
Are you forgetting something?
GIRL #1
What?
GUY #1
Your belt.
GIRL #1 plugs in her belt and GUY #1 drives off.
BLACK SCREEN
INT. CAR - DAY
GIRL #1 nudges her head slightly towards him and opens her mouth but decides not to speak.
GIRL #1
This left here.
GUY #1 carries on straight and takes a right. GIRL #1 looks at him and he looks back, smiles and stops the car.
GUY #1
Just a moment.
EXT. ROAD - DAY
The guy gets out the car, slides around to the boot and rummages through it.
INT. CAR - DAY
Whilst the girl has a moment of numb nervousness, but is quickly shaken by a loud bang of the man’s car boot shutting. (SHE STARTS TO INVESTIGATE HIS CAR AND BEGINS TO LOOK TOWARDS THE DRIVERS SEAT AND HIS PEDALS, THEN SHE FINDS THE POLAROIDS IN THE GLOVE BOX. SHE STARTS LOOKING AT A COUPLE PICTURES AND THEN REALIZES HE'S COMING BACK AND PANICS TO SHUT THE GLOVE BOX [BUILDING TENSION])(SHE FAINTS, CONCUSSION OR DRUGGED?)
EXT. ROAD - DAY
The man locks the car and goes to knocks on the door of the house.
INT. CAR - DAY
The girl panics as she looks around the car and then looks into the wing-mirror down the road. But before she could do anything, the man comes back towards the car. He gets back into the car and turns around to go back down the road towards her house and she asks if the origami she sees in the back seat is his and complements him on how cool it is, but he explains that it is his sons origami.
GIRL #1
This right here please. It's the house just at the bottom of the road, please.
They arrive outside her house. (SHE AWAKES AND IS CONFUSED ABOUT BEING HOME)
EXT. ROAD - DAY
She gets out and thanks the man before walking off confused.
INT. CAR - DAY
The man smiles and watches her before taking a picture of her house with a Polaroid camera.
