Script - Draft 2 Evaluation

I need to enhance the category of mise-en-scene as the costume of the guy, as I need to show him effectively as a possible artist, but also creepy and due to his ritualistic tendencies I should include a certain tidiness to his appearance.
When waiting and watching the fight, he should tap the steering wheel in the opening as this makes his character seem more creepy and impatient therefore increasing his ritualistic behavior as it shows he is anticipating something.

More mise-en-scene I need to express in the film is the decoration of the car, for example it should have stickers, logos, a foam finger, a cowboy hat, emblems and more. These should all center around an obsessiveness to one thing like an american football team (cowboys) or maybe a country musician.

Due to his tidiness and obsessiveness of certain aspects to his life, there shouldn't be rubbish on the floor of the car and instead, there should be a sack on the back of the seat with this rubbish in.

When describing the back seat, there is too much and should show a tidier and more minimalist approach, with a smaller more decorative box and some art equipment.

The decorative box in the back can have Polaroids in it that show the other peoples houses he has taken pictures of, rather than putting the Polaroids in the glove box. In the glove box there will be rubbish in the bag that falls out and she struggles to get it back in, rather than the rubbish bin on the back of the chair, therefore this will create a more naturalistic struggle when she is searching around and making it more believable.

Instead of the guy saying "It's my sons", make it less personal as this guy comes across as an introvert and wouldn't give out something that is so personal to his life, but still make it a lie.

When he gets out the car, make the music get creepier; this could be done by raising the volume, tempo and pitch of the sound. Also, he should get out at a hut of some kind instead of a house, as he shouldn't have any contact with people to keep his character authentic.
